teamplay Data Security (in work)

For new and updated applications that are submitted for the teamplay digital health platform integration, a malware scan with our Malware Scan Service (MSS) is required. The service scans for malware. spyware, viruses and worms and will detect harmful files. Thus, teamplay Data Security does not only protect the applications running on the platform, but will also protect users that run the applications.

With its API operations, teamplay Data Security mainly scans files from a network drive that is mapped to a virtual machine (VM).

Functional overview

The currently available APIs offer and support the following functions:

  • Registering applications for the Malware Scan Service (MSS)

  • Copying the data to the file share which is used for scanning the data

  • Providing a SAS URI for the file share which is used for scanning the data

  • Executing a malware scan for the registered and copied files

  • Deleting the shared folder after the scan has been finalized - including copying scanned content back to final blob if required

  • Removing applications from the MSS
